Winchester Cathedral, originating from the 17th century – absolutely magnificent.

St Cross Hospital founded in 1136 & still offers the Wayfarer’s Dole

Wolvesey Castle is one of the greatest medieval buildings in England.

Winchester Farmers Market is held on the second and last Sunday of every month in the Winchester City Centre.

The Westgate Museum for beautiful views of Winchester.

  1. What a wonderful place! The cathedral was magnificent and uplifting, the park-and-ride service excellent, the city delightful, and the Archives Office extremely helpful and user-friendly.
